Debbie Nelson, the mother of rapper Eminem, has passed away at the age of 69 following a battle with cancer. The news was confirmed by the artist’s representative, Dennis Dennehy, to U.S. media outlets. The exact cause of death has not been revealed, though Nelson had been struggling with lung cancer. In 1999, Nelson sued Eminem for defamation over his lyrics in “My Name Is,” but later revealed the lawsuit was suggested by her lawyer, and the case was settled out of court for $25,000 (£19,000). Eminem has also linked his struggles with presc...
