Drone pictures show bodies being buried on New York's Hart Island .
New York officials say that Hart Island, which for about 150 years has been used as funerary grounds for those who died unclaimed, will now also be used for unclaimed coronavirus victims.
New York City authorities say only bodies that haven’t been claimed after a couple of weeks will be buried – and they were doing so to help open up space in morgues for more dead people.
Generally, bodies are kept in the morgue for about two months before being buried, but now the city will move unclaimed bodies to Hart Island after two weeks.
