Just In : Nigerian Police Prevent Abuja Bank Robbery, Arrest Four, Kill One .

Nigerian police thwarted on Saturday a bank robbery in Abuja, capital of the west African country, killing one suspect and apprehending four others including some staff and the bank’s security men.
Bala Ciroma, commissioner of police in Abuja, while confirming the incident to the news crew, said one suspect was killed and four others were arrested during police's operation.
"It is a foiled bank robbery. We stopped the robbers from raiding the bank," Ciroma said.
According to eyewitnesses, the robbers gained access into the bank without any kind of resistance and were almost making away with the looted money when a bank customer at  the Automated Teller Machine (ATM), noticed suspicious movements and informed a senior staff of the bank who notified the Police.
The police said the situation has been brought under control as a joint security team has maintained security in the area.
